Frantically running through the airport, getting to grips with luggage allowance or worrying about your suitcase getting lost.

Sound familiar?

If the very thought of heading to the airport stresses you out, then we've got some handy tips to make it as hassle-free as possible.

So here are some obvious and a few weird airport hacks of tips that worked for me in that long layover when I was getting bored in the airport.

Bring your own snacks
Airplane food is usually not very tasty and it’s overpriced. The only free snacks you get are nuts and some crackers. Save your money and eat what you like. You can bring candy, cereal, canned foods, cheese, chocolate, cookies, crackers, hummus, fresh fruit, ice cream, and even pizza, according to TSA.

Carry a portable battery charger
Sure, there are charging stations at airports…technically. But they are always crowded and you’ll be lucky to find an open outlet. And once you get a spot you are stuck nearby to make sure no one steals your phone. Don’t risk it and bring your own battery charger. You can use it at any time while shopping or doing whatever else you want at the airport.

BUY A LOUNGE PASS
I had never paid to go to an airport lounge before this year, but it’s a game changer when you have a long layover. With all the traveling I do, I ended up getting Priority Pass, which allows you to visit hundreds of different lounges all over the world. I can’t recommend this airport tip enough, as there are many benefits to investing in a few hours in a lounge.

Flight delayed?
Use the GateGuru app to suss out the coolest eateries and activities in nearby concourses.

Put in-flight essentials all in one small bag
Put everything you’ll need during the flight into a single small bag — earbuds, e-reader/book, a snack, etc. — so you can just grab it and stick it in the seatback pocket before you stow the rest of your stuff in the overhead bin or under the seat.

Keep a collection of hotel toiletries
Instead of paying for travel-sized toiletries, bring hotel toiletries with you on your next trip. This works great for frequent traveler and saves you money too.

Stack your movie and music collection
Once I had a layover in the IGI airport and trust me I couldn't sleep even for a bit. it was just so out of place for me and when you are traveling alone there is no room for sleep as you may miss your morning flight. so here I was getting bored and thank god for the wifi there I download 3 movies and saw them all. but I would suggest carrying your own pre-downloaded movies off of Netflix or any other site and you won't get bored like I was.

So guys that were my take on airport hacks. I know there are more advanced hacks but in this, I decided to mention only the most obvious problems that an individual might face.
